Terrorism conspiracy theories and the 1978 Sydney Hilton bombing, Lockerbie, 9/11, and the London 7/7 bombings. Terrorism has been an increasingly visible part of life for the last 40 years, and following 9/11, one of the defining features of the early 21st century. There are, however, many who believe that terrorist acts are the result of insidious covert governmental organisations seeking to control the people they claim to be acting on behalf of.
