This session will be about transforming data insights into business decisions through effective data storytelling. We will talk about common mistakes in data communication, and by the end of the session you will be given tips that you can take with you to apply straight away.

Presenter: Kate Norris
Kate Norris has a background in data analytics, working mostly with finance and safety data, and is now a data communications trainer, working with clients to produce effective data visualisations and succinct, story-driven reports and presentations.
As a trainer, she creates a fun, inclusionary environment as she guides people through the data storytelling process, helping them move from analyst to data leader by inspiring action through data-driven business decisions.
She lives in Brisbane with her two kids, one husband, and spends an irritating amount of time pushing her cat off her keyboard.
