The Emerging Intelligence Practitioner Cracking the intel code for an intel job

This virtual AIPIO event is focused on you, the Emerging Intelligence Practitioner, and what you need to understand before you apply for the profession. The first part of the event will be looking at writing your job application. The second part will be a 'Day in the life of' discussion with three intelligence practitioners on their career and their advice to help you with your decisions

Session 1: Cracking the Intelligence Code. This session will provide applicable skills to understand and interpret a variety of intelligence roles and criteria within Government and private industry.

Speaker

Sofie Nastov has worked in Federal / State agencies in intel spanning 14 years, including extensive experience interpreting Federal and State Government Leadership frameworks, role descriptions and selection criteria. Several intelligence job profiles will be dissected to gauge what you need to address and how to address the role requirements and criteria.

Session 2: A Day in the life of an intelligence analyst. Listen to three intelligence analysts in different fields discuss their entry into the profession, their daily routine and advice for you to improve your chances of joining them in their field.

Glenn Tait from Queensland Police Intelligence with host a panel of three analysts. Helen Shaw from Auto & General Holdings, Reynald Lastra from Queensland Police Intelligence Directorate and Teigan Hogbin of Queensland Corrections Ethical Standards Group.
